Dr. Jester has extensive training in working with substance use issues and co-occurring chronic health and mental health issues. He has spent most of his time in private practice working with those who want to gain insight into why they experience the world the way they do and learn to be better parents, partners, and selves by altering how they relate to their emotional world.

He strives to make therapy a collaborative experience where you will feel in control of the treatment. By being attentive and attuned, he will walk alongside you as a guide to achieve your desired change.

Dr. Jester uses various techniques and approaches to help his clients, including mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) while being aware of the impact that early relationships and experiences in the past have on our perception of the present. His therapy sessions are tailored to each individual's needs, and he takes a dynamic formulation and perspective to assist clients in learning how to have healthy relationships with their emotional experiences.
